They will be four experts to try to clarify causes and the dynamics of the accident in hydroelectric power plant Of Bargi of Suviana, where I am on April 9th 7 workers died and just as many were injured. To technically investigate the most serious one massacre at work in Italy since the collapse of the Piloti Tower in Genoa, the prosecutor’s office of Bologna called a full professor of electrical energy systems, Carlo Alberto Nuccian expert in mechanics applied to machines, the professor Vincenzo Parenti Castellithe expert professor of hydraulics Enio Paris And Domenico Pianese, professor of hydraulic, maritime constructions and hydrology. The position will be awarded on May 3.

What caused the explosion at the hydroelectric power plant operated by Enel Green Power on the Bolognese Apennines? Were there human errors? The four experts will try to answer these questions. The investigations arranged by the prosecutor Giuseppe Amato and by the prosecutor Flavio Lazzarini will start from the black box of the system (Scada system) within which all the data and every operation carried out during the testing from the turbine of the plant.

Last April 9th in the early afternoon the technicians and workers of some companies external companies were finishing the installation of the turbine and thealternator of group 2. At a certain point, as told by witnessesan “anomalous noise” was heard, as if the turbine was moving “going off the rails” and shortly after roar which literally destroyed the eighth and ninth floors below zero, approximately 40-50 meters below lake level. Seven lost their lives, while the same number of specialized workers were rescued by rescuers.
