Naples, pizza chef from Casalnuovo serious in Brazil after an accident

Solidarity race in Casalnuovo, for a pizza chef which remained last April 19th victim of a serious accident in Rio de Janeiroin Brazil, and has been ever since hospitalized in serious condition in a private facility.

Friends and relatives have in fact started one fundraiser to which the Neapolitan rapper Clementino also gave his contribution, who today launched an appeal to help the young man, Raffaele De Simone, 30 years old, to stay in the clinic where Brazilian doctors are trying to save his life. The pizza chef has already suffered two delicate surgical operationsand is currently in intensive care and cannot yet be brought back to Italy.

«Raffaele is assisted by his sister who flew to Brazil – explain his friends – unfortunately the treatments are very expensive, amounting to around 4 thousand euros a day. For this reason we have started a fundraiser to allow Raffaele to be treated for at least a month, so that perhaps, once his conditions improve, he can be brought back to Italy. Unfortunately, the young man’s father also recently passed away, and the family cannot support these very heavy costs. In constant contact with the family, also the mayor of Casalnuovo, Massimo Pellicciawho, the Municipality explains, personally knows the young man and his family.
