After days characterized by adverse weather conditions, forecasts indicate an imminent turn towards a more favorable climate. The African anticyclone is preparing to raise temperatures across much of Italy, but not the whole country will be able to enjoy this climatic respite. Indeed, starting from May 1st, a return of the disturbances is expected. Antonio Sanò, expert meteorologist and founder of -, offers a detailed look at what awaits us in the next few days.

In the coming days, the weather will remain variable in some areas. The north will still see instability and frequent precipitation, especially in the Northwest with snow expected in the Alps at altitudes above 1200 meters, increasing to 1500 meters. In the Northeast and Central, conditions will be less rainy, while the South will enjoy more sunshine. Sunday marks a turning point with the advance of subtropical high pressure that will bring stability and rising temperatures, with maximums that will reach 24-25°C in many cities.

The climatic situation will intensify further on Monday, with forecasts of summer temperatures that could reach 28-30°C in the internal areas of the Centre-South. However, this heat will be short-lived, as already on Tuesday a new disturbance will begin to bring instability, starting from the Major Islands and the Northwest, then extend to a large part of the national territory with intense rain and thunderstorms on May 1st.
