TERAMO – The financiers of the GICO of the Economic-Financial Police Unit of L’Aquila, under the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Teramo, have executed a precautionary custody order in prison against a person under investigation for the crime of manufacturing illegal firearms, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Teramo.
The service activity comes at the end of complex judicial police investigations, which lasted a few months, which allowed the seizure of no. 9 “clandestine” firearms, various ammunition as well as identifying the laboratory used by the arrested person and seizing the relevant equipment.
The activity conducted by the Fiamme Gialle dell’Aquila, carried out with the help, in the final phase, of personnel from the Carabinieri of Giulianova (Teramo), saw the use of multiple investigative techniques and tools as well as search activities and observation services, which made it possible to identify and reconstruct the illicit activities perpetrated by the recipient of the order.
