Sara Torrisi, 18 years old, a student at the Deledda linguistic high school in Genoa, who enchanted the audience in the arena with her cover of ‘We don’t have to take our clothes off’ by Jermaine Stewart in Ella Eyre’s version, won the talent competition show Genvision XX24. The challenge between secondary schools this year involved 14 schools in Liguria. The event, organized by the GV Network association, has the patronage and support of the Liguria Region and the Municipality of Genoa awarded by Jessica Nicolini, coordinator of the cultural policies of the Liguria Region.
“Congratulations to all the finalists who put themselves to the test with courage and passion, giving us an evening of great entertainment – said governor Giovanni Toti during the final of the talent show -. The Liguria Region supports Genvision because it represents the values of youth, such as talent, sacrifice, ambition, ability to dream, enthusiasm.
The Region is always at the forefront in providing young people with the necessary tools to realize their dreams, promoting events such as Genvision, but also Orientations which, thanks to the ‘Dreamers’ theme, offers a growth path without barriers. The girls and boys of Genvision have proven to be real ‘dreamers’ and therefore we wish them good luck for the future.”
