Escape From Tarkov welcomes PvE mode, but the price is crazy
Descriptive text here

Something truly unusual has happened over the last few hours. The developers of Escape From Tarkov they have in fact announced the arrival of the much desired PvE mode, but the only way to access it is by purchasing a very expensive and highly criticized version of the extraction shooter.

The mode in question is none other than Escape From Tarkov deprived of the presence of other players on servers and without the wipes which periodically reset accounts and their progress. Many players have long wanted a component of this type, so much so that some members of the community had created a mod to obtain the same result as the PvE mode, officially available today.

The problem, however, is that the one and only way to access this content is to purchase the The Unheard Editiona version from 250 euros (taxes excluded, so we are talking about an amount exceeding 300 euros). Not only that, since the Edge of Darkness Edition, which was the most expensive version of the game that was supposed to include all the DLC as well as a number of bonuses, has been removed from the store and even those who purchased it will have to pay a difference in order to gain access to PvE. In this regard, the developers have declared that this mode is not considered a DLC and, unlike Escape From Tarkov Arena, it will therefore not be free for buyers of the old special edition.

As if that weren’t enough, what unleashed the fury of many players are the remaining contents of The Unheard Edition, considered by fans as a system aimed at making the extraction shooter pay to win. In fact, the list of additional content of this version of the game is very long and includes bonuses for reputation with the factions, lots of extra storage slots, additional pockets to store resources during raids and even a mechanism to invite friends during some missions for help.

In short, it is a novelty that has caused quite a stir among fans, some of whom even thought it was a joke. Others, however, argue that it is an attempt to make amends for the poor sales of Escape From Tarkov Arena, which may not have satisfied the software house.

While waiting to find out more, we remind you that Arena Breakout Infinite, a Tarkov competitor arriving soon, has recently been announced.

On Sony PlayStation®5 – DualSense™ Wireless Controller It is one of today’s best sellers.
