Descriptive text here

For National Liberation Day, the council group Bosisio Viva organize a cultural meeting. “The swallows always return in April”written by Giuseppe Antonio Livoni and published by ”Albatros Il Filo”, it is a novel inspired by real people and the history of the Brianza resistance. ”This narrative, carefully documented and partly connected to the history of the author’s family, tells how our territory reacted to fascist oppression with strenuous partisan resistance, a sign of a strong desire for independence and freedom. Livoni will take us back in time, making us discover figures and events of our country and the beautiful area in which we live” explain the group.
A former teacher of technical subjects, resident in Cesana Brianza, Livoni wrote this book which follows his first text ”the intertwining of two souls in a dream”.

The book, which is inspired by two people who actually existed during the Resistance period, tells the story of Ester and Severino, who grew up together, in the same family, starting from that distant 30th April 1944. In Cesello Brianza, as in much of the ‘Italy, the war had disrupted the daily lives of many Italian families and, despite the armistice of 8 September 1943, the day of Liberation was far away. The two cannot have memories of those days, but once they came of age they discover that their lives were intertwined on the day of their birth by a coincidence of fate. Now many years have passed, they both want to retrace that past full of questions and heroic and supportive acts.
The appointment is for Friday May 3 at 8.45pm at the Parini study center with free admission: at the end of the evening, it will be possible to purchase the book with the author’s signature.
