Sky increases subscription prices

Starting from June, Formula 1 will cost more for Italian spectators. Sky, the holder of the TV rights for the category, as well as for Moto GP, Tennis, Serie A and many other sports, will raise the prices of its subscriptions during the summer months. Below we provide you with all the details.

Sky subscription, here’s why it will cost more

As reported by Football and Financethe package Sporti.e. the essential one to be able to watch Formula 1 from home, will increase significantly 6.90 euros per month, while that Soccer of further 3 euros every thirty days for the Smart and Open price lists. The increase for the old price list will instead be equal to 7.99 euros per month for the Sport package and 3.99 euros per month for the Football package.

With regard to NOW TVthe price increase will instead be from 14.99 to 24.99 euros for those who signed the offer without constraints, while, alone 5 € per month for those who have signed up to the offer with an annual commitment.

The decision taken by Sky to increase the prices of its subscriptions, however, came following an enrichment of its catalogues. In fact, in the 2024/2025 season the broadcaster will exclusively broadcast the European cups, with the exception of the Champions League, or EURO 2024, without forgetting the engines with Formula 1, Moto GP and much more.

For customers who will be affected by the price increase it will still be possible cancel Sports and Football packages at no additional cost until June 30, 2024.
