The new car incentives officially kick in in May 2024, which bring up to 13,750 euros the maximum bonus obtainable on the purchase of a new electric car. Compared to a few years ago, the electric models to choose from have significantly increased, so we decided to order the compatible models in order of price.
We start from new Dacia Spring 2024, which has undergone a significant price cut, dropping below the list price of 18,000 euros, and we arrive at the BYD Seal in Design trim, which the Chinese manufacturer sells for 43,600 euros with road tax included. Excluding the MSS, the Asian sedan also falls below the maximum ceiling chosen by the government, i.e. 35,000 euros excluding VAT, 42,700 euros VAT included.
