VITERBO – Clearance of the war device found in via Alcide De Gasperi, new technical meeting in the Prefecture to define and agree on important aspects related to the management of the evacuation phase on May 7th.

Three issues addressed: the suspension of utilities within a radius of 500 meters from the war remnants, the identification of collection points and reception centres. As regards utilities: from 7 am the supply of electricity and gas will be suspended in an area within a radius of 500 meters from the location of the bomb (as per the map which can be consulted in the dedicated section on the home page of the site institutional www.comune.viterbo.it).

The use of generators with a maximum power of up to 3 KW will be permitted (for the conservation of otherwise perishable material). As regards the collection points: the places identified to wait for the shuttle buses heading to the reception centers are 24, namely:
piazza Beata Maria de Mattias, via Genova (parking near BNL), via Monte Cervino (local police parking), piazza Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, via I. Nievo (in front of the Geko bar),
via C. Cattaneo, via San Biele, Rocchi stadium (parking), viale B. Buozzi, viale Trento,
piazzale San Bernardino da Siena, piazza Gustavo Adolfo, via Friuli (park), piazza San Sisto,
Piazza Plebiscito, Piazza dei Caduti, Piazzale Gramsci, Piazza Verdi (of the Theatre), Piazza Crispi,
via Tarquini, viale Trieste, piazza del Santuario (La Quercia), via Vicenza (in front of the San Crispino hill), via Garbini (parking in front of the municipal offices).

The exact points will be identifiable through specific signs. From the same collection points, people will be transferred by bus to the reception centers, starting from 6 am, with circular routes until 8.45 am. Finally, the reception centres, i.e. the places where you can wait for the completion of the bomb disposal operations. There will be three structures that will host the people who have asked to spend the day in the aforementioned centers: the Parish of Santa Barbara, the Parish of Santa Maria della Grotticella (Mazzetta) and the Parish Church of the Holy Family (Carmine, Salamaro).

At the end of the reclamation operations, the shuttle buses, with a reverse route, will take people back to the collection points.
