E3 is deadlong live E3 some would say, but certainly not IGN who announced that its IGN Live will cover exactly the same days where the Electronic Entertainment Expo has been held for many years now.
There historic fair in Los Angeles it is in fact officially relegated to the past, as was announced a few months ago after years of editions that were not exactly at the top, also for reasons not strictly linked to the fair such as that bad story of the pandemic.
Now the well-known information portal has revealed the details of its event, which will obviously be held in Los Angeles from 7 to 9 June.
IGN Live will be held at the Magic Box @ The Reef in downtown Los Angeles. The event includes the chance to experience upcoming video games first-hand, as well as multiple stages featuring interviews, panels, live podcasts and more.
Companies taking part in the show include the likes of Amazon, Atari, Netflix and Square Enix, therefore we can expect some very interesting news.
The summer of video games is therefore unexpectedly returning albeit in another form, because IGN Live is just one of the well-known events for the summer.
In addition to the always resonant Summer Game Festwhich usually gives us at least a few bombshell announcements and this year it could be the turn of Gears 6there are the now ritual events of companies and publishers.
Also the PC Gaming Show it has been confirmed, moreover in an edition that promises to be even more exciting because it celebrates an important anniversary. As well as the Ubisoft show which, with Ubisoft Forward, will respond to the period of tiredness of its intellectual properties with many announcements capable of leaving skeptics speechless. Or at least so we hope.
Important confirmations like that of are still missing Xbox which will probably take advantage of the usual summer slot to announce many games like those arriving for free on Game Pass (to which you can also subscribe via Amazon).
