A discussion with the residents of the took place on Monday evening in the parish hall district of San Martino in Riparotta and Via Orsoletowhich lasted about three hours, in which the municipal administration, represented by the councilors Mattia Morolli and Francesca Mattei, took stock of the works carried out in the first two years of their mandate, in particular the asphalting interventions on via Orsoleto and the safety measures of the area, with speed bumps and cameras.
Various requests from residents including a cycle path that connects the part of the schools in via Orsoleto to Viserba; the completion of all the asphalting of the remaining sections of via Orsoleto; the green maintenance and grass cutting interventions and the shared evaluation for a redevelopment of the park between via Orsoleto and via delle Cascine.
The councilors Mattia Morolli and Francesca Mattei accepted the requests, immediately hypothesizing interventions to complete the asphalting and strengthen public lighting. Works which have already partly begun or are planned shortly, such as the bumps on the side streets (via Cotignola, Maiano and Longastrino area) and the redevelopment of the via delle Cascine package.
The ongoing work on the pedestrian underpass of Via Grazia Verenin in Viserbella was recalled, which will allow the area to be reunited with the sea side for the residents of the area upstream of the SS 16.
Other issues include the creation of the new “Fai bene” school, which will not lead to the closure of the Case Nuove elementary school. The new gym that will be built with the school will meet the requests of the area and the neighborhood sports associations.
On the sidelines of the meeting and at the initiative of the residents, another meeting was proposed which will be held with the residents of via Turchetta.
