Almost one hundred thousand euros raised in a few days to fulfill all the wishes of Sara, the 5 year old girl Faenza affected by a neuroblastoma to the fourth stage for which treatment was suspended. The cancer it is irreversible, and when the doctors made the decision not to tire her further by intensifying the therapy, the little girl’s father shared the family’s wish: “We will spend all the time God wants to give her entertaining her and taking her to the places she wants.” From today, thanks to a fundraiser in which participants from all over Italy participated, the first items on Sara’s wish list will begin to be ticked off.
On the Facebook page “Children’s Santa Claus”, managed by a volunteer, it was announced that the set quota had been reached and the fundraising had closed. The money raised will now be used to make Sara’s wishes come true: from a trip to Disneyland to a horse ride, from a helicopter flight to a photo shoot.

In the post published on Facebook by the children’s “Dad”, it is specified which channels the donations come from (a specific Iban and two collections on GoFundMe, one in the name of Sara’s father and one of Sara’s mother) and what will happen from now on: «From this moment on, Sara will be satisfied in everything».

The post reads: «Good evening everyone, I am very pleased to announce that Sara’s wishes have all been fulfilled, and that the total raised is €117,433 divided as follows: Gofundme Mamma Maria €6,440; Gofundme Papa Mattia 78,793 (the other money in the account was prior to the collection of wishes and we did not count it correctly); Iban in the name of Mamma Maria for the collection of Sara’s wishes ‘The Children’s Santa Claus’ €32,200. For maximum transparency mum and dad have already sent the email requesting the Visa Mooney account statement and in the next few days as soon as we have it I will put it on the page while for Gofundme you can see it easily because by scrolling there are the donations with date and amount with the name of the donor”. «Therefore, all accounts in the parents’ name regarding Sara will be closed between today and tomorrow, technical response times for Gofundme and Mooney. I invite you not to make any more payments because the goal has been achieved. From this moment on, no more payments will be accepted into the mother’s account because the money collected will only be used for Sara’s wishes and to buy what she wants in the places she will go, such as toys or other things, and in the following days the Gofundme accounts will be closed » continues “Dad”.
Sara’s wishes
«I want to thank all of Italy for being close to Sara and her family, because no one would have ever imagined that the list could be closed in such a short time. Now Sara’s parents and I will draw up the calendar of all the dates, we have also given opportunities to people who wanted to repeat the wish more than once, such as horse riding, the helicopter, the party with lots of children, the castle and the photoshoot. To be fair, I also tell you that if Sara had any other wishes, we would let you know, provided only that there are no more funds, and that Sara will be satisfied in every way from now on. She doesn’t always have good days because the pain bothers her, so we will “dose” the events based on her condition and they will be carried out in the order that she decides. Whenever there is a wish I will post a photo for transparency.” «Now we have to think about keeping our and your Princess Sara entertained, because she deserves to be happy, and I won’t leave her for any reason in the world and as long as she wants I will stay close to her, whatever happens and at any cost.
