Today, Saturday 20 April 2024, the firefighters had to intervene in Cantù in Corso Europa in the waste collection center to put out a fire that had started due to a malfunction of a compactor.

The operation took place around 1pm when two fire brigade teams arrived on site, assessed the situation and immediately set to work to put out the flames before they spread further. Fortunately there were no consequences for those present.
