On April 21, 2024, Sunday, at 9.30 am, the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting will be held at the covered tennis court of the registered office; The President Silvia Orlandini and the Board of Directors of Canottieri Eridanea officially communicated this.
The agenda contains the points relating to the approval of the 2023 budget and the appointment of the new Board of Directors. The document is a report from the President and Council of the Società Canottieri Eridanea to the Members, which illustrates the results achieved and the activities carried out in the last 15 months with a positive economic and financial performance.
The report highlights the growth of the company, the safety and maintenance of the structures, the increase in the quality of the services and the innovation of the sports infrastructures, its role in the territory, the relationships with the municipal administration, the statutory adaptation to sports regulations.
Among the main achievements, we mention the renovation of the playground (thanks to the non-repayable contribution of the Gal Terre del Po), the certification and replacement of damaged sections of the piers, the construction of the Padel and basketball court, the renovation of the lighting of the tennis courts, the closing of the gates with widespread distribution of access systems, the extraordinary maintenance of the terraces and the roof of the office and gym building, the strengthening of the fitness offer, the installation of an open-air gym, the renovation of the Pagoda and the restaurant, the installation of charging stations for electric bicycles.
The report also anticipates the activities and investments planned for 2024, including the opening of a kiosk bar next to the Padel in order to create a space for young people, the adoption of a new app for booking tennis courts tennis and Padel, the safety of various infrastructures including the underground swimming pool room, the insulation of the external air conditioning ducts, the VENTO cycle path project, the maintenance of the facades of the new building, the renewal of the gym equipment of the boating.
On the occasion of the centenary of its birth, the figure of Antonino Primerano, former President and honorary President of the company, after whom the access road to the association was named, was celebrated in collaboration with the municipal administration.
The results obtained in the rowing sector are proudly underlined, through the commitment of its athletes who have participated in national and international competitions, winning numerous medals and titles, thanks to the coaching team which for years has been led by the champion Gianluca Farina. For tennis, the company has organised, hosted and participated in various tournaments and championships, and has continued tennis courses for children and lessons for its members.
Paying attention to the overall growth of the person, the Association proposed cultural, sporting and entertainment initiatives that it strongly wanted to open to the entire community. In particular it organised: the literary café, a wine tasting course, the Po wood exhibition, themed evenings and musical shows, the Erisport and Babysport summer campuses, football and green volleyball tournaments and memorials.
Finally, a very strong thank you is extended to administrators, employees, sports collaborators, voluntary members and sponsors, for their contribution to the life of the company, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of sport and the growth of Canottieri Eridanea.
The Assembly will be the occasion for the election of the new Board of Directors in which the outgoing President, for continuity, will stand again together with eight candidates.
