It will take place on Saturday 20 April, at Palermoat the Unified Army Club, the event “Health care-associated infections: the challenge of scientific societies”.
Healthcare-associated infections (ICA) are infections acquired in hospitals or other healthcare settings related to the healthcare episode and today constitute one of the major challenges for patient and healthcare worker safety due to their high clinical, economic and social. Objective of the meeting is to develop the culture and provide tools aimed at the management and prevention of healthcare-associated infections (ICA) in the clinical care setting. This increasingly current problem is closely shared by scientific societies, in order to increase awareness of how training and skills based on best practice are tools for improving outcomes. The scientific managers of the event are Dr. Vita Grazia Casesi, Dr. Zina Picciuca and Dr. Maria Grazia Randazzo.
