A new General Medicine Clinic, with direct access, will be active from Thursday 2 May in Sambuca Pistoiese, at the USL headquarters in Taviano.
“This is an additional service – explains the Health Authority – compared to the General Practitioner, in consideration of the fact that some family doctors carry out outpatient activities in territories distant from that of residence of the citizens of the hamlets of the Municipality of Sambuca Pistoiese”.
The doctor is Dr. Pier Luigi Di Patre: he will guarantee the primary care outpatient activity for patients in the municipal area.
The service will be active every Thursday from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm starting from 2 May 2024.
“I thank the Tuscany Local Health Authority for the activation of the new service in our territory” declares the Mayor of Sambuca “The citizens of Sambuca will be able to use the outpatient service without having to go to Pistoia anymore. All while waiting for the new medical doctor general”.
The Central Tuscany Local Health Authority has in the meantime proceeded to once again advertise a contract position in general medicine with outpatient restrictions in the Sambuca area
