Loano, the second edition of the Csen Liguria Exhibition at the PalaGarassini

The second edition of the Csen Liguria event will be held on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May at the PalaGarassini in Loano, organized by the Ligurian regional committee of the National Educational Sports Center led by commissioner Roberto Romano with the patronage of the tourism, culture and sport department of the Municipality of Loano . The event was presented this morning, in the council room of Palazzo Doria in Loano.

Roberto Romano, commissioner of Csen Liguria, underlined the excellent relationship with the municipal administration of Loano, which as a European City of Sport is always ready to promote and support sporting events and events. The first edition of the Csen Liguria event was held in 2022 and saw the participation of around 500 athletes. For this second edition, Romano specified, the arrival of a thousand participants is expected.

The mayor of Loano Luca Lettieri and the deputy mayor with responsibility for tourism, culture and sport Gianluigi Bocchio underlined the excellent relationship with Csen Liguria, which materialized in the first edition of the Csen Liguria Review and in the Italian Jujitsu Csen Cup, both held in 2022 The two Loano administrators underlined the importance of sporting activity, which not only allows those who practice it to stay healthy, acquire and consolidate important human values, but also represents an important sector for economic development. and tourism in cities like Loano.

The regional councilor Brunello Brunetto also participated in the presentation, who underlined how Loano is now reaping the fruits of a work that began far back in time and precisely when the municipal administrations decided to invest, for example, in the creation of what is today the PalaGarassini. A structure that has allowed the birth and development of an important network of sports associations and which, for example, has allowed the growth of entities such as Basket Loano Garassini, which over the years has been a breeding ground for many talents who have subsequently landed in the top leagues of the basketball. Sport must not have political connotations, just like culture and well-being: every administration must understand the many values ​​of sport, which represents education, self-discipline, health. Brunetto then thanked the municipal administration of Loano for having worked and for continuing to work on the promotion of sporting activity.

The event is dedicated to promoting sport and building a dynamic and inclusive community. Over the two days, the best instructors and the most prestigious sports associations will perform in stages and exhibitions, sharing their skills and inspiring the athletes of today and tomorrow towards personal and sporting growth. Over a thousand athletes will meet to discuss important issues such as sport, martial arts, self-defense and cyber bullying. It will be an opportunity to meet with industry experts and to discover all the future projects that Csen Liguria has in store.

Exhibitions of judo, karate, jujitsu, Brazilian muay-thai, kick-boxing, silat, K1, savate, taijiquan, chausse fight, free boxe, krav maga, kali, Msc, light, qi gong, jukabo, self-defense are scheduled , kung fu.

On Saturday 11 May the national representative for cyber bullying Maurizio Germano will be the speaker at a meeting on the topic. Instead, Romano Roberto will hold a session of “Strong Women”, a project for women’s self-defense.

The National Educational Sports Center (Csen) is the first sports promotion body recognized by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee).
