With the TV series of Fallout on the crest of the wave, data from mobile analytics firm Sensor Tower shows the impact it is having on video games.
In the past few hours we had already told you how the numbers of all the chapters of the series were growing enormously.
This is thanks not only to the TV series available on Prime Video, but also to a special free weekend for Fallout 76.
Just think that just Fallout 76 (which you can find on Amazon in a special exclusive edition) has broken a record that had lasted for 4 years.
Apparently, however, thanks to the data collected by Layer Licensing and shared with GamesIndustry.bizdata shows that the daily revenue of the mobile spin-off Fallout Shelter rose from just over $20,000 on April 10, 2024 (the day the show debuted) to 80 thousand on April 13th.
Likewise, the number of downloads per day increased from around 20 thousand to over 60 thousand in three days. In fact, daily downloads have increased by 20% within 24 hours of the show’s debut.
But not only Fallout Shelter it also rose to seventh place in the games rankings free most downloaded on iOS in the United States, the highest position the game has held since June 2018, when Shelter received a boost in awareness after the announcement that it would be coming to PS4 and Switch.

It is important to remember that the show is still “fresh” and relatively recent: we will see the full impact of this transposition in the weeks to come, although even now the numbers are mind-boggling.
