Sony has just officially released theupdate 24.04-09.40.00 for consoles PS5which brings with it various new features for all users who own the current-gen console.
The official changelog reports several novelty valid both for Slim consoles (which you can find on Amazon) and of course for those who own the first model of the platform

PS5: new features in the June update
- Child accounts can now link and add third-party services and apps to their PlayStation Network account to enjoy benefits and features that enhance their gaming experience. Younger players using child accounts on PS5 can link accounts to use features like voice chat Discordstreaming music via Apple Music and Spotify, and broadcasting and sharing gameplay via YouTube and Twitch.
- New content filters are available for parents and guardians. These controls notify you and help you manage your child’s account connections with third-party services and apps.
- Availability may vary based on age, parental control settings and country/region.
- You can now start or join a voice chat on Discord directly from your PS5. Open Game Base in control center and select the Discord tab to access servers and direct calls.
- Updated device software for PULSE Elite Wireless Headphones, PULSE Explore Wireless Earphones, and PlayStation Link USB Adapter. PlayStation Link connection stability has been improved.
- Fixed an issue with the PULSE Elite Wireless Headphones that caused the power to turn off when the audio cable was connected to the audio input.
- On the PULSE Elite wireless headset, the status light that lights up after establishing a connection with PlayStation Link is dimmer.
- Improved system software performance and stability.
- Improved messages and usability of some screens.
