According to some testimonies that emerged on Reddit, Sony is reportedly offering a 25% discount on PlayStation Plus subscription (any level) until April 29, 2024. This offer, however, would not be valid for everyone but only for a small number of selected players.
Players in North America and Europe confirm that they have received the email with the offer, apparently valid only for new subscriptions and for members with an expired subscription. A similar situation occurred in January 2024 when Sony promoted PS Plus discounts for some members, without forgetting the PlayStation Plus Black Friday offers that are not the same for everyone, Sony later admitted that the PlayStation Plus promotions are targeted and therefore different for groups of members.
So at the moment you may not be able to sign up or renew your PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium subscription with a 25% discount. Players who are interested and eligible to join Sony’s spring promotion will receive an email to the address linked to their PSN account, with many emails apparently arriving a day or two before their subscription expires.
Meanwhile, players are reporting some problems redeeming PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2024, with the padlock appearing on some titles.
