Metaphor: ReFantazio: Collector’s Edition and pre-order bonuses revealed

In addition to the many new features on the plot and gameplay, Atlus has also revealed the pre-order bonuses and physical editions available at launch Metaphor: ReFantaziowhich include a Collector’s Edition.

If you missed the latest news, during the night an event entirely dedicated to the new JRPG was broadcast by the authors of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, where for the occasion the release date was announced and a new trailer was presented. For the occasion, the physical editions of the game available at launch in Europe were also presented, namely the Standard Edition and a rich Collector’s Edition, bookings for which should begin within a few days.

The Standard Edition, as you can imagine, does not include any extras in particular, but on the other hand those who pre-order the game before release will receive pre-order bonuses the “Archetype EXP Chest Set”, with various items to enhance the “archetypes” (i.e., the character classes), and the “Adventurer’s Journey Pack”, which includes a nice nest egg of 30,000 reeve, various healing items to restore HP, MP or resurrect a companion in battle, as well as some unappealing stale black bread, which causes damage to enemies. Moving on to Collector’s Edition by Metaphor: Refantazio, will be sold for 149.99 dollars (the price in euros has not been indicated, but we assume the classic 1:1 conversion will be done). In addition to the base game, it includes an exclusive steelbook and a series of contents that will appeal to collectors, such as an artbook, the soundtrack on two CDs and a fabric map of the Kingdom of Echronia, all enclosed in a collector’s box in the shape of book.

Furthermore, the price includes DLC “Costume Set and Battle Music”, which includes outfits and tracks from previous Atlus games, such as Persona 3, 4 and 5, Shin Megami Tensei 5 and more.
