A track supercar that you can now also drive on the streets, under the bonnet with four engines and 1030 HP, a bullet in the city.

Until now relegated to the circuits, a supercar that embodies power, speed and engineering excellence, but with a touch of the forbidden: could not face the common roads. However, now, an incredible transformation has made what seemed unthinkable possible.

A track supercar that finds its natural habitat on the asphalt of the most prestigious tracks, now emerges from curves to also plow through urban roads. This vehicle is a marvel of automotive engineering, a perfect cross between racing performance and luxurious ride comfort.

But what makes this creation so extraordinary is not just its ability to dominate the circuit, but its own recent metamorphosis which transforms it into a travel companion on ordinary roads. Behind her hood lies an unstoppable force, ready to unleash itself with every push of the accelerator.

However, it’s not just about raw performance. The attention to detail, precision of handling and driving comfort were all atcarefully designed to guarantee an unprecedented driving experience.

The Ferrari SF90 XX Spider: an icon of performance and innovation

It is one of the fastest production cars on the planet, it is super exclusive and equally expensive, but above all, it debuts concepts never before seen on a production Ferrari: the SF90 XX Spider will be produced in just 599 units (all already sold) and embodies a new way of having fun in the universe of Cavallino supercars. Together with the coupé version (the SF90 XX Stradale) it is the first road Ferrari to be called XX, that program which for about twenty years has brought Maranello’s wealthiest customers to the curbs with cars built specifically for the track, without the constraints road car approvals.

The Ferrari SF90 XX does have license plates, however, reinterpreting its philosophy. And so the sinuous lines of the SF90 Spider from which it derives have been overturned with completely new body panels (in composite material) designed to maximize the aerodynamic load which, thanks to the new fixed wing at the rear (not seen on a road Ferrari since of the F50), it reaches 530 kg at a speed of 250 km/h.

Innovation and performance without compromise

To obtain a similar result the men from Ferrari they eliminated the front trunk (but we don’t miss it much, given that it was tiny, 74 litres) and rotated the radiator dedicated to the electrical part of the hybrid system by 180 degrees to create a particular S-shaped duct – called S-Duct – which channels the air from the front towards the top of the car.

In this way the hot air coming out of the radiator is no longer pushed downwards and this has made it possible to make the bottom of the car, which is almost completely closed, even more efficient. We also find new aerodynamic elements in the wheel arches equipped with extractors to evacuate the “turbulent” air trapped in the area of the wheels, while, at the rear, the action of the wing is combined with that of the shut-off gurney: it is a mobile element in the upper part of the tail that rises and it is lowered depending on whether it is necessary to increase the aerodynamic load or reduce it when traveling in a straight line at very high speeds.
