Amazfit has just presented the smartwatch on a global scale Amazfit Active Max. The new addition to the hugely popular range Active It is designed for those who want to start exercising, improve their fitness and well-being.
It’s basically an enlarged and enhanced version of Active 2a smartwatch that was presented at the beginning of 2025, thanks to a larger display, a battery exaggerated and many small refinements that are good for the experience of everyday use. Let’s find out all the details, including the selling price for the Italian market.
Amazfit Active Max is official
As anticipated at the beginning, Amazfit Active Max it is the new smartwatch that Amazfit has designed specifically for people who in the past were less active or exercised only occasionally but who intend to change their habits for the better, and with a view to regularity.
This smartwatch can track over 160 sports and activitiesincluding everything you need to prepare for HYROX races, offers personalized training plans based on artificial intelligence and advanced analyzes that highlight the progress achieved during use (in the short and long term).
Amazfit Active Max it has a round coax and, from the front, resembles its younger brother Active 2 (in the version Round) but grows dimensionally to accommodate a 1.5 inch AMOLED displaywell defined (480 x 480 pixels) and super bright (3,000 nits peak), and a battery monster and 576 mAh (more than double the size of the one found on the Active 2).
Despite everything, the weight remains less than 40 grams and therefore allows it not to cause too much discomfort in daily use. Amazfit then managed to automate many functions in order to reduce “distractions” and simplify the access routes for training, with progress that can be shared on external platforms.
In this sense we have detailed workout summaries (including post-workout and recovery data) both on the smartwatch and in the Zepp app: this shows your results, training loads, recovery progress (including sleep quality and heart rate variability) and indicator BioCharge (reflects the user’s current energy level). Amazfit Active Max is able to monitor dozens of parameters, all used to create metrics that help users understand how the body works.
Thanks to the presence of NFC, the smartwatch supports i payments. Then there is the integration of the service offline maps which offers topographic maps, ski resort maps and contour maps, including the ability to use them all for navigation. Amazfit Active Max integrates a speaker and a microphone, supports pairing with headphones and other sports accessories (such as Helio Strap and Helio Ring, just to stay at the Amazfit home), including third-party ones.
The Zepp OS operating system, in its latest version, offers access to various mini-app (more than one hundred) via the Zepp app: one of these is included Podcastan app that provides access to millions of free audio content that can be downloaded for listening offline thanks to 4 GB of available memory (only 1 GB is available on Active 2).
