Second signature for the Openjobmetis Varese who announced that he had signed a contract with Jordan Harris. “Class of ’97 originally from Blakely, Georgia, Harris is a versatile player, gifted with a long-range shot but also explosiveness, which he uses effectively to attack the basket. On defense he knows how to assert himself thanks to good physical skills and excellent reading of the game, as evidenced by the 2 steals per game on average recorded last year in Belgium with the Brussels jersey”.

Maksim Horowitz’s commentGeneral Manager of Basketball Strategy of Pallacanestro Varese: «We are happy to have reached an agreement with Jordan Harris who will be part of our team from today. Jordan is a versatile player who will bring defense, rebounds and good passing and shooting skills. We are convinced that he will bring a high level of competitiveness to the arena and that he will wear the red and white jersey with pride. Welcome to Pallacanestro Varese Jordan!».

Career
Born on October 9, 1997, Harris trained at the University of Georgia where he significantly improved his numbers year after year. In 2021-2022 he flew to Europe, to Great Britain, where he signed a contract with the Glasgow Rocks, a team with which he scored 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and, above all, more than 2 steals per game. The following year he moved to Poland and then, in February, to Belgium where he wore the Mechelen jersey. The experience was more than positive, so much so that it pushed him, at the beginning of last season, to stay in Belgium where he played for Brussels Basketball with excellent numbers (12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals on average per game).
