Double signing at Bergamo to give new impetus to the growth and reconstruction phase for the 2024-2025 season: a double agreement brings the opposite Virginia to Bergamo Adrian and the central Alice Flour.
Born in 2004, 26 appearances in the past season with the Hermaea Olbia shirt, 196 centimeters tall, gold medal at the Under 19 European Championships in 2022 and silver medal at the Under 21 World Championships in 2023, Virginia Adriano he got to know Bergamo from the stories of Laura Partenio, his teammate in the championship just concluded. He arrives on loan from Savino Del Bene Scandicci: “This is an important opportunity for me: I’m approaching the A1 for the first time with a great desire to grow. Alice Farina, last season in Mondovì also with 26 appearances, born in 2000 and 188 centimeters tall. Like Adriano, you will be making your debut in the top flight: “In the space of 5 years I went from B1 to A2. And now comes the last step for a further leap in quality. Bergamo offered me the opportunity to test myself but at the same time it gives me a new starting point which does not complete my journey, in fact it is the best way to relaunch it.
My characteristics? As I am off the pitch I am also on the pitch, very exuberant, noisy, I tend to form a group and on the pitch you can notice me for the grit and charisma I bring. I think that my character is the extra weapon that has gotten me this far, in a club that has deep roots, capable of always being close to its athletes and with a large following of fans.
I was enthusiastic about Bergamo’s proposal also because there is a coach from whom I want to learn a lot. I want to test myself and discover my ability to handle the level. It will be a challenge”.
