The world number one also made a nice gesture with some children. During the first break, around 7.50pm, some people were leaving and Djokovic shouted at them in Italian: “No wait, where are you going”. At that point another group of children shouted at him from the stands: “Nole, we have to leave”. Djokovic got up and went to sign autographs and take selfies, before resuming training. A child asked him for the towel he was wearing around his neck, Djokovic took it off, signed it and gave it to him.

The Serbian then started joking with Federico Solomon, the Italian tennis player number 1499 in the ATP ranking who dribbled with him and who lived a dream.
