ROME – With Jannik Sinner out all the spotlights of the Foro Italico will be turned towards the home favourite, Matteo Berrettini. The Roman tennis player returns to play the Italian Internationals after 3 years taking advantage of the absence of the injured Lehecka, a Berrettini present in Rome for the love of the city despite not being at 100%: “I’m fighting everything. They have been complex weeks, complex years. The approach to difficulties is better than in the past: before I was discouraged, now I face problems head-on. I’m struggling because everything is happening. It’s difficult, but I fight and I’m proud of my journey. Others in my place would have given up“.
