Romagna RFC for social issues – “Beyond the goal”
As part of the social activities that Romagna RFC promotes and supports, in collaboration with local associations, the “Al dioltre della meta” initiative took place on Saturday 4 May at the Rugby Stadium in Cesena, created with the support of Romagna Initiatives, and designed to promote inclusion through rugby, trying to overcome the barriers that arise in the face of diversity and which often lead to the isolation of the most fragile individuals.
The participants experienced a day in full rugby style, with games and recreational activities on the rugby field together with the players of Romagna RFC and the inevitable moment of the “third half”.
The children of “Esplora” of Rimini, an association that organizes sporting and cultural activities and events suitable for children with disabilities, and the children of the Sasso Montegianni Community of Marradi, participated in the activity.
