The last match of the season, for the top category Biella Rugby team, is scheduled for Sunday on the Rugby Parma field. Promotion objective already achieved for the Biella team, calm waters for Rugby Parma which has been out of the top rankings for some time and now occupies fourth to last place in the table. The 50-16 victory for Biella in the first leg leaves us to hypothesize, carelessly, a quiet match in the return match. To consider the memory of the past season which saw the yellow-greens win the first match easily, on their home pitch, but suffer heavily in the second played at the Banchini in Parma.
Head coach Alberto Benettin: “We will play our last match away from home, on the Parma Rugby pitch, a difficult pitch which gave us a big disappointment last season, which is why our objective for Sunday will be to erase this sad memory, but keep it as an incentive to play a great game that will seal an overall satisfying season. I’ll make an aside about our latest victory at home last Sunday against Cus Milano: I really liked the attitude of the boys which has always been ‘the right one’, that of a team that wants to fight from the first to the last second. With Parma I want to find the same attitude again. I know it will be a very difficult and physical match, but we will give everything to bring it home.”
