Gas Sales Bluenergy is regional champion and will be the protagonist at the Under 17 men’s national finals scheduled in Lanciano, in the province of Chieti, from 21 to 26 May. For the second consecutive year the red and white team wins the regional title. In the regional Final Four played in Piacenza, after winning the semi-final against Moma Anderlini Modena 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-21), in the final the red and whites came from behind to overcome the tie break (22- 25, 26-24, 25-14, 15-25, 8-15) Bologna Volleyball who in the semi-final had always prevailed 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-18) of Emmeti Clima Modena. Both finalists of the regional Final Four will be among the 28 teams that will compete for the Italian category title from 21 to 26 May in Lanciano.
A final that the young red and whites won with a comeback. After winning the first set, in the second half of the game they lost their advantage after finding themselves ahead 17-12 and 24-21. Third set played on velvet for the Bolognese team with the red and whites still stunned by what happened in the previous game, fourth set which saw Gas Sales Bluenergy make a loud statement and win clearly. One-way tie break: Piacenza always led without any worries.
At the end of the Regional Final, the awards were given to the two teams by Silvano Brusori, President of the Emilia-Romagna Fipav Committee, and Cesare Lucca, President of the Provincial Fipav Committee, as well as by Mario Dadati, Sports Councilor of the Municipality of Piacenza. Lots of red and white also in the awarding of individual prizes. Best center back of the event is Lorenzo Gabellini of Gas Sales Bluenergy, while best setter was awarded to Emanuele Tassoni of Pallavolo Bologna, best spiker Luca Dalfiume of Pallavolo Bologna, best libero Lorenzo Basso of Gas Sales Bluenergy and MVP of the final Manuel Zlatanov of Gas Sales Blueenergy. The awards were given by Hristo Zlatanov, general director of Gas Sales Bluenergy, by sports director Alessandro Fei, by Councilor Mario Dadati and by Cesare Lucca.
The Under 17 men’s Regional Final Four was organized by Gas Sales Bluenergy on behalf of Fipav Emilia-Romagna. Fernando Cantarelli, head of the youth sector of the red and white club, received a plaque from the Regional Fipav for the organization of the event.
