San Giovanni Ilarione (VR): The 20th Edition of the Granfondo del Durello is ready to welcome bikers Sunday 28 April. There is great excitement in the Basalti household and the long weekend of April 25th was full of work for the organizers. The tensile structure has been set up and the signs have been applied on the streets of the town which is starting to take on color thanks to the first banners that frame the central squares of San Giovanni Ilarione. Below is a small map to indicate the key places for participants.
Here is some useful information for athletes who will follow the paths of Val d’Alpone going to win the coveted Avis Trophy. Making a quick summary from Saturday 27 Aprilat the secretariat, located in via macerata it will be possible to sign up, collect race packs and numbers from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and at the same time access the team area and position your gazebos for the event (from 1:00 pm). Followed by 6.30pmAperitif edited by the Non PreoccuParty and Gruppo Basalti staff.
Sunday 28 April from 07.30 to 09.00 the secretariat is available for registrations, the collection of bibs and also race packs and any validation of the chips by Evodata. Placements in will be active Team Area until 8.30am. Inside the technical envelope there will also be the good pasta party.
The departure of the 20th edition of the Granfondo del Durello is scheduled for 9.30 am from Via 4 Novembre. The expected route is 44km and a difference in altitude of 1400 meters with 2 feed zones inside, exactly at km 13 at Loc. Nogarotto and at km 26 at loc. SCAI.
Upon the arrival of the first, the King and Queen of Durello will be crowned with the classic Flower Ceremony and the awarding of the Avis San Giovanni Ilarione and Vestenanova Trophy. We will provide further information during the event Radio Corsa by the Civil Protection of the Radio Piovese group which will pass all the details to the speaker Silvio Mevio.
At the end of the event, as always, pasta party inside the tensile structure and at the end category and circuit awards Trek Zerowind Off Road And Veneto Bike Cup Zerowind.
