Eurialo Siracusa wins the third concentration of the first phase of the under 13 championship and qualifies for the next triangular tournament in which they will meet at home, because they are better ranked, Akrai Palazzolo and Angelo Custode Priolo. In the matches played in Cassibile first against the hosts and then against Avola, Raffaele Moscuzza’s team won in straight sets on both occasions. To the local team, the green and blue team left 10 points in the first set and 4 in the second, while against the Avola team the score was 25-6, 25-8. Clear successes as in the previous two stages hosted in Avola and Syracuse. Among the first classified in the 4 groups, Eurialo, with the same number of sets won (12) and lost (0), is the one that recorded the second best position with a points ratio of 2.8, behind only Aurora , which scored 3.75. All this testifies to the quality of the work carried out by vice-president Salvo Corso’s company, which continues to enhance the youth sector, with increasingly better results.
As for the Second Division championship, the regular season has ended and the Aretusea team will now have to play the final for ninth place with Antares Ragusa. First leg in Iblea on Saturday 4 May at 4.30pm, return match in Syracuse on Sunday 12 May at 5pm.
