PAVIA – Il Cus Pavia Rugby wins a precious comeback victory against i Centurionson the eleventh day of the Serie C promotion round. The yellow and blue, after having been at a disadvantage for most of the match, managed to overturn the result in the final minutes thanks to a great display of character.
The game begins with the dominion of the Centurionswho took the lead thanks to one maul irresistible. The Pavia team reacted with determination and, thanks to a free kick converted by Spade and to a goal of Ferrari Trecate on the initiative of Counted, they overturn the score. The guests, however, did not give up and, taking advantage of some errors by Cus Pavia, managed to overtake again with a maul and went into the break leading 10-12.

Although the performance was not brilliant, especially in the attacking phase, the yellow and blues gained a fundamental point which keeps them in the running for promotion. Contarato and Tiberi they are named Men of the Match for their determination and contribution to the victory. Now Cus Pavia is preparing for three consecutive away games, starting with next Sunday’s match against league leaders Sondrio.
