Carlos Alcaraz today he carried out his first training session at the Mutua Madrid Open, taking some precautions to avoid aggravating the problems in his right arm that have afflicted him recently. The young Murcian tennis player trained for about an hour, wearing a protector on his right arm. Alcaraz, affectionately nicknamed “Carlitos”, does not want to take risks with these forearm problems and during today’s training session he avoided forcing his forehand shot, limiting himself to dribbling without giving maximum intensity to this fundamental.
Alcaraz’s cautious approach is understandable, considering the importance of the Madrid tournament and the high expectations surrounding it. The young Spanish talent, in fact, is considered one of the favorites for the final victory.
Despite the precautions taken, Alcaraz appeared in good physical and mental condition, demonstrating great determination and concentration during training. His technical team, led by experienced coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the player is in the best possible condition to face the challenges that await him on the clay of Madrid.
