It will be a celebration dedicated to sport, the most noble and ancient one, rugby, of aggregation and friendship and, why not, also of a good plate of pasta or a sandwich with carne salada. On Sunday 21 April, from 10 am, almost two hundred children from the Alto Garda Rugby, West Verona Rugby Union and Merano Rugby clubs, between six and twelve years old, will meet on the Rione Degasperi pitch, just outside Riva del Garda.
The day is divided between matches characterized by respect for the rules and opponents and the “third half”, the moment exclusively dedicated to tasting meals and drinks, which involves players and spectators. A unique, magical moment that only an ancient sport like rugby can enhance. A hot plate of pasta or a sandwich with carne salada will be provided for all those present.
But the day doesn’t end like this.
Also on Sunday, but from 3pm, the Senior category match is scheduled, which will play for the Silver Cup. The “Cervi” of Rugby Alto Garda will clash with the giants of “La Tribù Mogliano Rugby” (Treviso). “It will be a breathtaking match,” the organizers assure. Who hope to receive the encouragement “Forza Cervi” from the large crowd gathered around the Rione Degasperi pitch.
