Red Bull conquers the 100th pole position in Formula 1 during qualifying for the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix. The words of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez

CFive very long years have passed since the last time Formula 1 ran on the track of Shanghai. They have just finished Qualifying for the 2024 Chinese Grand Prixthe fifth meeting of the season, as well as the site of the first race weekend with the new Sprint format. She was very nice to drive and I am very happy to have driven in the dry. The conditions were good for us. You have to find peace of mind and be at ease when you tackle qualifying and thanks to an extra set of tyres, thanks to the rain, it helped us to lap more and gain confidence for the fastest lap” declared the three-time world champion.

ORExcellent performance also from his teammate Sergio Perez who won, in addition to the bronze medal at the end of the Sprint Race, the second starting position in tomorrow’s race, monopolizing the front row. “Very intense qualifying, they soon took me out in Q1. I had to return with very hot new tires and I barely passed. In Q2 I found a better pace and balance. Unfortunately, in the end, I lacked something to match Max. I think it is everything at stake for the race, we can get a good result and I’m looking forward to race day with optimism” added the Mexican from Red Bull.
