The Borgo Panigale manufacturer still maintains an advantage – confirmed by the two victories out of three races on Sunday, by the 10 overall podiums obtained, double that of KTM (5 ), more than triple that of Aprilia (3) -, but at least in Qatar, Portugal and Texas the margin has narrowed, Aprilia and KTM have gotten a little closer. On social media, many enthusiasts had their say: “This happened due to the concessions given by the regulation to Aprilia and KTM.” It’s a very popular thesis. But, at least for the moment: wrong: if the Noale and Austrian manufacturers are more competitive it is not because of concessions. At least, not for the moment.
