“Secondo le prime ricostruzioni, l’incendio sarebbe scoppiato durante una festa frequentata da giovani, ma anche questo aspetto è ancora in fase di verifica”, ha detto il ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani, ospite su Sky TG24. “Il nostro ambasciatore è in arrivo sul posto e abbiamo attivato una task force per fornire assistenza e informazioni ai familiari e per verificare l’eventuale coinvolgimento di cittadini italiani, anche se al momento non ci sono conferme. Le cause dell’incendio e dell’esplosione sono ancora sconosciute. Secondo l’Ambasciatore d’Italia in Svizzera, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, le fiamme potrebbero essere partite da un petardo o un fuoco d’artificio che è esploso all’interno del locale e ha incendiato prima il soffitto e poi, in tempo brevissimo, tutto il locale. Altri testimoni raccontano che il fuoco sarebbe partito da alcune candeline accese su bottiglie di champagne, che hanno incendiato il soffitto in legno. “Un attentato può essere assolutamente escluso”, ha fatto sapere la Procuratrice Generale Beatrice Pilloud, annunciando l’avvio di un’indagine.
