Last night i Pearl Jam they performed on the first date of the Dark Matter World Tour 2024: here’s how it went.

First concert of Dark Matter World Tour 2024.
In the first concert of the two scheduled in Vancouver, the group, which entered the stage to the tune of an unreleased instrumental written and recorded by Jeff Ament, began the concert with three slow pieces: Wash, Low Light And Small Town.
In the main set, Pearl Jam, who looked really good, debuted several songs from their new album live.
While the band proposed pieces such as Upper Hand And Won’t Tell they could admire, behind their backs, exciting plays of light projected on a mega screen.
Always in the main set, as well as some classics like Given To Fly, Corduroy And Porchthe rare ones were played Leatherman (at the request of Matt Cameron and who hadn’t appeared in one of our setlists since 2016) and Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns by Mother Love Bone while queuing up Daughter Canadians Tragically Hip (and the late Gord Downie) were honored with Bobcaygeon.
At the beginning of the encore, Eddie wrote messages on a projector that were broadcast on the big screen, including a thank you to Tom Petty – honored with the cover of I Won’t Back Down.
In the encore, Pearl Jam also played more of his songs Dark Matter, Something Special And Setting Sun which closed the concert in the best possible way.
During the first concert of Dark Matter World Tourwhich lasted two and a half hours, the group played 9 out of 11 songs from their new album.
Note: Before the band entered the stage, it was broadcast via piped music IDEA01 by IDLES. Just the night before the Pearl Jam concert, Jeff Ament went to see the Bristol band in Vancouver. As a tribute, the bassist wore a TANGK tour t-shirt during the encore of the Pearl Jam concert.
