Italy remains in the crosshairs ofcold air of arctic originresponsible for a unusually cold weather for the last ten days of April and temperatures widely below seasonal average values, as well as favoring repeated phases of bad weather. At the beginning of this week a new one cyclonic vortex descending from Northern Europe (disturbance number 7 of the month) reaches the northern regions, with a worsening of the weather which, between today (Monday 22) And Tuesday 23, will essentially involve the Centre-North. Particularly in the Northern regions the climate will be winter-likewith the return of snow up to exceptionally low altitudes for the period.

Wednesday 24th, in its movement towards the south-east, the disturbance will also marginally affect the southern regions, while the atmosphere will remain unstable in the Center and North-East. In the meantime, the cold air will reach the southern regions where a significant drop in temperatures is expected.

The evolution for the following days remains very uncertain: to date, for the entire long weekend of April 25th one looms marked meteorological variability and an often unstable atmospherewith the passage of other disturbances and therefore other precipitations, but in a milder climate context and the tendency for a sharp rise in temperatures towards the weekend.
