The body of a woman, currently unidentified, was found in the courtyard of a building in via Paruta, in the northern area of Milan. The police are intervening on site. The medical examiner is also present to establish the causes of death. The woman could be between 25 and 30 years old, she was half-dressed and the Carabinieri investigators are keeping all leads open, including that of murder. She has not yet been identified.
Sexual assault prior to the crime is suspected
The young woman, who is being identified, may have been a victim of sexual violence, found dead this morning in the courtyard of an apartment building in Via Paruta, Milan. It is one of the hypotheses on which the investigators are working coordinated by the prosecutor on duty, Antonio Pansa, holder of the murder case and who will shortly, as soon as a first report from the police arrives, order the autopsy. The girl, fair-skinned and in her thirties, was found in an alley of the building, near a flowerbed, wearing the trousers of a tracksuit, her breasts covered by a jacket and tennis shoes but without socks. Details that suggest the possibility that the alleged violence occurred in another place and that the young woman was then hastily dressed and taken there, taking advantage of the fact that the gates leading to the internal garden of the complex were always open. According to initial investigations, death occurred after 10pm yesterday, but only the autopsy will establish the exact time and nature of the marks found on the neck. Other ongoing investigations will clarify whether she was raped or not. Some elements could be returned from the analysis of the images that are being downloaded from the surveillance cameras of the area and of some private individuals. To identify the woman, the host communities of the city and its hinterland are also being searched. The alarm was raised this morning by the caretaker of the building, heard by investigators together with some neighbors. The latter reported not only that they did not know who the girl was, but also that they had not seen or heard anything during the night.
