All the news were explained by the artist himself in a long post on social media, which start like this: “It’s never been easy for me to go back to writing a new album. I have always tried to find a valid reason, far from the balance and times dictated by the world of recording, to write new songs. It’s a great effort to ‘get back into the game’, especially when you feel artistically, practically and even economically ‘satisfied’”.
To find again inspiration and create new musictherefore, Fabrizio returned to that old studio apartment, the first one he lived in and the same one where he signed some of his most famous pieces: from “Thinks” to “yet you have changed my life“, two of the songs with which he participated in the Sanremo Festival, up to “Free”, one of the songs that Moro considers most representative of himself.
“Here I wrote many songs that gave me the opportunity to develop and establish myself as a songwriter”, he added, explaining that he was locked in the apartment since a monthwith the aim of giving birth a new album. “It was good for me to get back in touch with my ‘origins’, alone, away from everyone. Of course… my ‘gastritis’ has returned due to ordering unlikely dinners at unlikely times but, musically and above all spiritually I feel reborn”, he added again.
For the moment, a song seems to have been born from this important process ready to be published. Fabrizio Moro did not want to reveal yet title nor the release date: “But just a few more days and I’ll let you listen to it”, he promised to the fans.
The will, in fact, is that of “give it away” to everyone before his new tour. The singer-songwriter has already announced a series of summer concertswhich are called “A Whole Life – Tour 2024”, at the start in July and scheduled until the end of August. First, however, there is the great concert-event on May 25that the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome: you can bet that Fabrizio Moro wants to present his latest musical result right in front of the public of his citywaiting for the entire album to come out of his old studio apartment.
