AGI – To celebrate her 50th birthday, Victoria Beckham treated herself to a performance with the Spice Girls. Posh Spice, as she was known in her bad days, hosted a swanky evening with her former bandmates: Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisolm. In an epic karaoke moment, captured in a video posted on Beckham’s Instagram page, the Spice five sang their 1997 hit ‘Stop’.

As if no time had passed, they also seemed to remember the choreography of the song. “Best night ever! Happy birthday to me! I love you all so much!” we read in the caption that accompanies the video. Victoria’s husband himself shot the video, David Beckham, who can be seen in the video expressing his enthusiasm.
The five ‘Girls’ hadn’t been seen together for years. The last time they performed together was in 2012 at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. In 2019, Bunton, Horner, Chisolm and Brown – also known by the nicknames Baby Spice, Ginger Spice, Sporty Spice and Scary Spice respectively – reunited for a tour, while Victoria Beckham opted out, citing a desire to focus on family and about his fashion brand.
The British band released their debut album ‘Spicè’ in 1996, and the 5 members took a break in 2000 to pursue solo careers following the success of songs like “Say You’ll Be There”, “Wannabe” and “2 Become 1”.
