Fontaines DC – “Starburster”
A new single from Fontaines DC arrives: it’s called “Starbuster” and anticipates the Irish band’s next album, “Romance”, announced in recent days with a teaser of a minute and a half inspired by the film “The Shining” by Stanley Kubrick and a 90-second appetizer of music (which is not that of “Starburster”). Produced by James Ford, “Starburster” tells the story of Grian Chatten’s experience of a panic attack at St. Pancras station in London. The enigmatic video clip, directed by Aube Perrie, stars the frontman of the Dublin band coming out of a house with a swollen face, with sounds based on loops And drum machines.

The song was in fact written by James McCartney, son of Paul McCartney, and Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
