Radio3 Scienza returns to talk about the “errors and wonders” of science with the protagonists of the Rome Science Festival, live from the Petrassi foyer of the Ennio Morricone Auditorium Parco della Musica. The history of science is not only made up of Nobel research, but also of funny and at the same time brilliant research, born from unlikely observations, strange coincidences and even errors heralding brilliant intuitions: research worthy of an IgNobel Prize. In today’s special episode, from 11.00 to 12.00: Marc Abrahams, founder of the IgNobel Prize; Chris McManus, emeritus professor of psychology at University College London, winner of an IgNobel Prize; Giulia Monteleone, director of the Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources (TERIN) department of ENEA – National Agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development; Wendy Schulz, director of Infinite Futures and professor of futures studies at the University of Houston. And then we get some previews from Michele Bellone, scientific director of the Rome Science Festival. Marco Motta at the microphone
