Damiano David, the frontman of Maneskin, made his acting debut. Maserati chose him as the spokesperson for its campaign, transforming him into the protagonist of a mini film: here are all the looks he showed off.
THE Maneskin have taken a temporary break from music after touring the world several times with their sold-out tours over the last 3 years. However, this does not mean that the band members have “disappeared” from circulation; on the contrary, they use social media to document their daily life made up of holidays and professional commitments. After Victoria De Angelis she first became the parsley of the fashion shows and then a DJ, now also Damiano David debuted with a “solo” project. He surprisingly turned into an actor, he did it for Maserati who chose him as the testimonial of its new electric car.

The company wanted Damiano David as an exceptional testimonial, now considered the symbol of Made in Italy charm and beauty and who has now become the protagonist of a 90-second mini-film directed by director Gabriele Mainetti. For his first experience as an actor, the singer played the role of tester of electric cars, namely the GranTurismo, the GranCabrio and the Grecale. Between close-ups while driving and constant changes of clothes, he celebrated not only Italian excellence but also the passion, innovation and vision of Maserati.

The mini film by Maserati is inspired by the sophisticated and light-hearted atmospheres typical of the Dolce Vita, therefore Damiano David (supervised by stylist Michele Potenza) could only play a star of the past, a successful man who confidently goes away aboard the his sports car. After driving the GranTurismo wearing an oversized biscuit-colored suit, he remains shirtless to change both cars and clothes. He switches first to a white satin shirt and matching coat to get behind the wheel of the Gran Cabrio, then to total white for a ride in the Gracale: he never gives up his hair pulled back with gel and the headband with the pearl hanging from his ear left.
