Doomsday, Cyclops’ battle in the description of the third teaser

After the false advances circulating on social media, Nexus Point News has clarified the promo showing the return of James Marsden in the role of Cyclops also offering a first look at the two leaders of the X-Men, the Professor X (Patrick Stewart) e Magneto (Ian McKellen).

The description of the third teaser

The teaser takes us inside what appears to be the X-Mansion, but in ruins. The classic sign is visible among the rubble Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. In the mansion we see Professor X and Magneto engaged in a game of chess. The camera moves slowly around the room until we see Xavier in the distance, sitting in his wheelchair. A king-shaped chess piece floats in the air, with Magneto blurred in the background. The two mutants they shake hands in a gesture of brotherhood. The camera pans up to show Charles Xavier wearing a blue jacket with a black and red X. He still holds Erik’s hand and smiles. Pan to Magneto, sporting a beard and long hair, who smiles back.

What can we expect from the return of the X-Men?

The Russo brothers were responsible for introducing the X-Men into the MCU before the arrival of a film entirely about them. Judging by the teaser description, which reveals a Cyclops costume faithful to the comics and the presence of the Sentinels, everything suggests that the Russos have chosen to remain as faithful as possible to the Marvel comics in an attempt to give fans what they expect from this film.
