Karen Gillan apologizes for ‘ridiculous’ Guardians of the Galaxy 3 poster: ‘Why did I do it?’ [FOTO]

Recently i Marvel Studios have released a new official poster of Guardians of the Galaxy 3the awaited final chapter of the trilogy of mcu directed by James Gunnarriving in theaters on May 3, 2023. The image reflects in all respects the spirit of the team of heroes and is no different from the many promotional photos released for the previous films in the saga: we see the team members in different poses, against a “galactic” background that anticipates the of the new heroes space adventure. However, there is a detail considered out of tune by one of the leading stars, namely the pose of Nebulawhich in the last few hours is making the actress particularly ashamed Karen Gillan.

The interpreter of Gamora’s sister has in fact published a video in which she ironically apologizes to the fans for the bad idea she had during the photo shoots, admitting that she did not realize, at first, how “ridiculous” that position was :

“Okay, can anyone tell me what i was thinking when i decided to pose like this on an international poster and world that will stay there forever? I remember doing this pose and thinking, “I think I look pretty cool here.” So I take full responsibility for this choice. Oh my God, what was I leaning against? What is my elbow doing?“

Karen Gillan then went on to joke adding that, at this point, she could continue to do so by making that pose a sort of standard for Nebula photos:

“Maybe I should do an encore and make this pose a feature… I’ve been staring at her for so long, I thought “Oh maybe, maybe I’m looking for a weapon to take out and fight someone”. And then I remembered that I don’t wear a holster or anything that would carry a weapon, so it’s not even that. You’ll see that pose again somewhere, where you least expect it“.
