Great news for fans waiting for Hellboy: The Crooked Manthe reboot signed by the same creator of the legendary comic books Mike Mignola. The official trailer for the film has just landed online, offering us a first look at the new protagonist and the atmosphere we will breathe in this new version. You can find it below:
The film is directed by Brian Taylor (co-director of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance e Crank), while our beloved son of the underworld will be played by Jack Kesy (12 Strong, Deadpool 2), which takes the place of David Harbourprotagonist of the failed 2019 reboot, and before Ron Perlmanstar in the 2 comic book movies directed by the Oscar winner Guillermo Del Toro.
The plot is centered on the comic of the same name and is set in 1956when Hellboy attempts to recover the soul of a man named Tom from a powerful demon deep in the Appalachian Mountains. A new agent of the BPRD (Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense) will then be at his side to defeat the monstrous Crooked Man, busy collecting souls for the devil.
In the cast of Hellboy: The Crooked Manin addition to the protagonist Jack Kesy we will find Adeline Rudolph (Resident Evil) e Jefferson White (already an interpreter of the series Yellowstone) in the part of Tom Ferrel, while Leah McNamara and Effie Kolb, Joseph Marcell Reverend Watts, Hannah Margetson Cora Fisher e Martin Bassindale the villain known as Crooked Man. The film was written by Mike Mignola with his long-time collaborator Christopher Golden.
